Quality and performance describes the Quinn Tools, Inc Scraper Attachment. The Scraper Blade is made of blue tempered steel, sharpened at each end, and can be re-sharpened. Two case-hardened steel screws firmly secure the blade into place on the blade holder, which is precision made of solid aircraft aluminum. The hardened steel studs are thread mounted with industrial grade thread sealant. Double springs (die springs – known for years of dependability in the automotive and machine industry) are the heart of the Scraper Attachment. Equipped with brass bushings, the solid aluminum mounting base aligns with precision on the steel studs resting firmly on the springs. The Scraper Attachment mounting base slips onto the Tool Adaptor with three thousandths of an inch clearance.
